19" x 25", alcohol ink painting strips threaded onto linen canvas, natural wood frame.
This is the last available artwork from the “Quarantine Confession" series, a collection created during the early stay-at-home orders. Shards of paintings and tangled thread represent the upheaval and subsequent piecing together of a life in quarantine and a new normal. This particular piece is an acknowledgement of how make-up, fashion and primping had gone by the wayside. Those days, it was nothing but glasses, ponytails and sweatpants.
