You have zero energy. And yet you're on a high, tingling in elation. That's Both/And.
11" diameter x 1/8"D floating on panel, Mixed media: deep iridescent forest green resin top against cracked, terra cotta bottom; gold leaf edges. Signed and ready to hang.
The world likes to think in binary, but understanding things - as well as yourself - comes easier when you can see the nuanced complexity. "Both/And" is an exploration of holding 2 opposing emotions at once and honoring their coexistence. Rugged texture juxtaposes against sparkling, smooth resin, all housed in a circle, which is a modern take on the yin-yang symbol. These original artworks range in thickness and diameter, and can be displayed in multiples or alone.
