I'm sooo excited to bring this "Floodgates" Collection to you. It symbolizes a HUGE year of growth for me, an inner transformation that I just had to pour out into art. You know that feeling of being stuck? Well that's where I was last December. Stuck in roles from the past, limiting beliefs and stories around my character and capabilities. When we can move from victim to empowerment, from defensiveness to openness, we can get out of our own way and take inspired action. This honest mentality shift sets off a chain reaction, like opening an internal floodgate towards healing. It's a constant, conscious practice, but it's been undoubtedly worthwhile. We are all the gatekeepers to our own healing. It's time to look within and let the doors fly open.
These artworks are full of symbolism. Visually, color gradients signify an internal transition – a shift into surrender, which becomes the catalyst for an opening. Old patterns and stories populate the draped paper, falling away as it gives way for the new expansive energy.
