I have spent hours in my studio listening and I'm sure it's no accident that I subconsciously landed on a theme of "Law of Attraction" for my latest art series. You mentioned you like doing puzzles with your girls and I wanted to give something back to you for all you have given me. Here is a testament to the power of mindset. A few months back, I found myself in a place of scarcity, looking at other artists' IG and comparing myself, focusing on the rejections to art calls, wondering why the sales weren't happening, etc and caught myself. I decided to stop focusing outward and just focus on my work, my passion - to just surrender and have fun. And guess what?? Since the beginning of this year, I kid you not, the following opportunities have come to me unsolicited:
- 2 commissions
- a well known local gallery (that I'm not in) is interviewing me live next week in a new art studio visit program they launched
- multiple sales at the gallery I'm currently in
- I was contacted by a gallery in NY who wants to represent me (I said no, but still, it's flattering)
- an Interior Designer asked me to be in their Design conference artist market
- iCanvas.com approached me to carry my work for art licensing
- Wescover.com approached me to participate in their new marketplace feature, including promoting my pieces
- I was asked to do a solo exhibition for this Fall
If that's not Law of Attraction, I don't know what is!!
