Inspired by the song "Time Is All" by Darrell Lopp, this original artwork was created for a group show featuring artworks all based on songs by Austin musicians.
This 24" x 36" piece is comprised of ink, acrylic, thread on panel and is a symbolic representation of the passage of time as described in the lyrics of "Time Is All". Just how we perceive time as a blur, the background features vibrant inks that fade to white. The small circles on the threads are points on a timeline - memories we carry, all filtered through the large golden circle - the present moment.
